9-15-12: Pet Aggression
Our September 15th show discussed common aggression in dogs and cats. Aggression is the most common and most serious behavioral problem in dogs. More than 2 percent of the U.S. population, or 4.3 million people, are bitten annually. Our expert guest was Dr. Crista Coppola, a Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist. Dr. Coppola discussed different categories of aggression, such as territorial, protective, possessive, and fearful. Dr. Coppola also discussed a new product, Thundershirts, in our “Real Scoop or Real Poop” segment.
