Pet Personality – The Pet Personality of the week joining us on Saturday’s show is Tricia Andrews.  Tricia is the founder of Givebones, a charitable company committed to giving homeless dogs the life they deserve.   By selling dog collars, Givebones provides funding to animal shelters and rescue groups striving to help dogs in need.  The company’s goal is to generate awareness and financial support in hopes of reducing the amount of homeless dogs being euthanized every year. 

Medical Topic  – The medical topic for Saturday’s show is senior care for pets.  Thanks to advancements in veterinary medicine, pets are living longer than ever before.  As pets reach their golden years there are a variety of diseases and conditions that they can face.  Just as the health care needs of humans change as we age, the same applies to pets.  The expert guest joining us on Saturday’s show is Dr. Mark Epstein.  Dr. Epstein chaired the Senior Care Guidelines for the American Animal Hospital Association.
