The November 24 show was devoted to first aid for dogs and cats. Whether it is basic first aid or CPR, knowing what to do in a medical situation can help your pet stay healthy and avoid problems. Our expert guest was Thom Somes, the “Pet Safety Guy” and president of Pet Tech. Pet Tech is the first international training center dedicated to CPR, first aid and care of pets. Thom discussed first aid for you pets including assembling a pet first-aid kit and pet CPR. He also discussed the steps needed for a person to become certified in both pet CPR and pet first-aid care.
